Earlier tonight we travelled to Eastbourne to play our third preseason game against Mid Sussex Football championship League Side Eastbourne Rangers.
Considering the quality of our opponents, we set out to push from the off and after 30 minutes, we were 3-0 up.
The hosts made 2 quality tactical changes and they had imedeate effect, the hosts caught us on the break and nicked a goal back.
Unfortunately, the game took a turn for the worse as a confrontation developed and we had a man sent off.
Despite this, we held out well with 10 men, but, after continuing pressure, the hosts drew level.
We never gave up, missed a penalty but, in the last 30 seconds of the game, Rangers created a quality attacking drive demonstrating their class and experience to get the winner.
For us, over all it was a good result loosing 4-3, but showing or true potential.
We would like to extend our thanks to Eastbourne Rangers and the referee.
