Chopbacks win in 1st annual cup competition

The Chopbacks started their preseason with the 1st of an annual cup match with Parkeston Welfare Park which this year was held at the home of the opposition based in Harwich, Essex.

The first half ended in a 0-0 draw due to a combination of resolute defending by Parkeston and the Chopbacks inability to take their chances.

Second half was completely different with a hattrick by Connor Easton, a brace by Eduard Czeller and goals by Tyler Smith and Connor Smith to seal a 7-1 victory.

The club would like to thank Parkeston Welfare Park for being such gracious and friendly hosts and we look forward to hosting them next preseason.
