Chopbacks dig deep for win

Next up in the preseason schedule for the Chopbacks wast East Sussex Football League Division 3 side Old Town Lions away, albeit played on our home pitch.

After going a goal down the Chopbacks went in at half-time 3-1 up after 3 goals in 4 minutes by goalscorers Connor Easton & Tyler Smith (2).

The second half saw Old Town Lions claw back a goal and Jay Easton denied a last minute goal ruled to be offside ending the match 3-2 .

The Chopbacks were perhaps not at their best but showed they can grind out results when not playing well against Old Town Lions of whom look like they will do well this season.
