Chopbacks II lose match and discipline
Following on from the disappointing defeat the weekend before the Chopbacks II wanted to get back winning ways with their next opponents Hastings Comets.
With the weather rendering playing conditions incredibly testing this was always going to be hard for both teams.
The Chopbacks II went in at half time 1-0 down after Hastings Comets took a very early lead.
The second half saw an improvement from the players but not real bite going forward and after a red card to Syd Moffat-Bailey and a sin bin to Mike Hawley any chances of getting back into the game looked slim.
Going down to 9 men proved costly as Hastings Comets bagged another 2 goals to end the match 3-0 winners.
Few can argue the result with the Chopbacks II proving to be the masters of thier own undoing, much work needed next week.
