Event News – St Michael’s Hospice Raffle Raffle draw to take place 4th May 2019

This season the club are having a Raffle draw whereby all proceeds will go to the St Michaels Hospice.

They provide high quality, responsive palliative care and bereavement support across Hastings and Rother and work collaboratively with others to improve end of life care for all.

The Hospice is set in beautiful grounds with stunning sea views and is nestled in a truly impressive location in the heart of St Leonards on Sea in East Sussex.

The Hospice was originally opened in 1987 by founder Sheila Leach who was inspired to act when she witnessed the experiences of an elderly neighbour caring for his wife who was suffering from a life limiting illness. Sheila secured the use of a building which was previously used as a care home and convent run by Augustinian Sisters who were returning to Paris.

They need to raise over £12,000 every day to run the Hospice.

The draw will take place live via the clubs Facebook Page at our Annual Awards evening which is being hosted at the Hollington Community Centre on 4th May 2019 at around 8pm time (times might change slightly nearer the time).
