Good game for the spectators yesterday as we hosted West Hill 1st in our return fixture.
The game was action packed with Lee Finnigan scoring after 6 minutes. Moments later however, Westhill were level due to a rare goalkeeping error.
The game was fairly even until Connor Easton netted to give the Chopbacks the advantage again.
Towards the end of the match West Hill pushed hard and an equaliser was on the cards, sadly it came from a piece of panic naive tackling giving away a free kick off the edge of the box.
Westhill scored a stunning free kick to be fair. The boys rallied to get the winner and had a chance seconds from the whistle but under pressure from 12 yards we blazed the ball over the bar.
So again it ended in a draw against a strong Westhill team.
