Chopbacks win despite still not at best

After an under par opening day victory the Chopbacks looked to build on their early success away to Sedlescombe Rangers II.

With a few players unavailable the Chopbacks handed a debut substitute appearance to 2nd player Sam Goring as well the gather Sam Cook also kitting up for the occasion.

The Chopbacks went in at half-time 2-0 up although will feel that the game should have been out of sight already.

Sedlescombe Rangers II battled hard and came close to getting a goal back on a couple of occasions.

However the Chopbacks held on and sealed the game with late 3rd goal for debutant Sam Goring ending the match with a 3-0 victory and a rare clean sheet.

Plenty of positives to take for the Chopbacks as they now look forward to a weekend off to rest and prepare for cup action the following weekend.
